The D.D. Shell is C.P. Company's technical obsession: rather than assembling down baffles, the brand injects the filling directly between two layers of coated nylon. The result is no through-stitching, therefore no cold spots, and that slightly lively lacquered surface that develops a patina over time. In cream, the construction is visible to the naked eye — it is as much an engineer’s piece as a fashion piece.
